  • When you are viewing someone else’s shared screen, simply click on the big screen that is being presented, and you will get a popup that offers a full screen icon in the lower right corner. Click on that full screen icon and you will be able to view the shared content in better detail.

  • Within the 3D space you are able to control your audio volume level through the system you are using, such as your computer, mobile device, or VR headset.

  • Within the 3D space, there is a video icon on the upper portion of the control bar. You can toggle your video on or off to control other people’s ability to see you. If your video icon is turned off, your profile picture will occupy the avatar screen instead of your live video feed.

  • There is no way to edit your associated email address at this time. However, you can submit a request to change your email address associated with your account by clicking here.

  • On the log in screen located at https://meet.getglobaly.com, enter the email you used to originally set up your 3D Space, and then select forgot password under the login section, Check your email address for a password reset link.

  • For desktop or laptop users, use your arrow keys to move forward and back. Click and hold the mouse while moving left or right. Combine arrow keys and mouse click and holds to move around the 3D space freely. You can pass through objects to make getting around easier.

  • Click on the Map icon within the control panel to get a dropdown list of zones within the 3D Space. Click on the zone you wish to visit, and it will immediately transport you there.

  • If you clicked a screen and a video began playing, simply click on the same screen to stop the video from playing

  • You can share your screen, very similarly to other video streaming platforms. Click the “up arrow” icon next to any of the screens to start sharing your screen.
    Remember that if you are sharing your screen to play a video, the other participants will not be able to hear the audio of that video. If you wish to have a video heard by participants, you need to have the administrator of the 3D space upload the video to the 3D platform prior to when participants arrive. 

  • Yes, if the screen is not being used, you can click the top video camera icon to start sharing your computer’s camera onto the shared screen within the 3D space. 

  • On your control panel, there is an icon that looks like a group of 3 people. Click that participants icon and you will get a pop out menu showing the names of all of the participants. Click on an individual participant to send them a direct message, or put a message up at the top of the participant list to send a message to the entire group at once.

  • Maneuvering in the 3D space is much like being the main character in a video game. The faster your computer’s processor, and the faster your internet speed, the faster you will move around in the 3D space.

  • The 3D space performs best when accessed via a laptop, desktop, or VR headset. A minimum of a 3.5 GHz processor is recommended.

  • No, the 3D spaces are accessible from most available web browsers.

  • Go to https://meet.getglobaly.com in your desktop browser and log in using the email you set up originally. Then enter your password and enter the 3D space. Copy the URL at the top of your desktop browser screen and share that URL with others so they can join you in your 3D Space.

  • Each 3D space can hold up to 250 users logged in at the same time. However, having more than 50 users in the space at the same time may hinder speed of movement within the space.

  • Yes, you can activate a 30 day free trial by visiting https://admin.getglobaly.com/signup

  • You can cancel anytime, we do not believe in locking people into contracts.

  • Account holders can select from 5 color schemes for their 3D space at no extra charge. Images, videos, and logos can be uploaded to create a branded space as well.

  • All modern browsers on Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android—and yes, even VR headsets. The beta version is best when accessed using a laptop/desktop computer or VR headsets. Mobile users will have limited navigation options.

  • Within the 3D space, there is a microphone icon on the upper portion of the control bar. You can toggle your microphone on or off to control other people’s ability to hear you. When moving about the space, it is always a good idea to mute your microphone, especially if there is noise in your background.
